VoIP Network Assessment

Are you thinking about deploying VoIP or IP telephony equipment? Have you heard the stories about VoIP rollouts gone wrong? You can protect yourself from VoIP failure with DWE.

The key thing is to do a VoIP network assessment before you begin to deploy VoIP gear. DWE can do VoIP assessments for you quickly, comprehensively, and for less cost than you might think. Here are some of the questions a network assessment answer for you:

  • How many calls can my network handle on its various segments?
  • What level of quality (Mean Opinion Score, or MOS) can be expected if we run a given number of calls over a given segment?
  • What codecs should we use?
  • Are there times when batch processes and other bursts of network activity would adversely affect VoIP traffic?
  • Can we deploy VoIP economically at all?

VoIP Network Assessment. CTI Application Customization. DWE employs programmers who can make a Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) application work the way your business requires. You may need call control, screen pop, after-call data collection, integration with an electronic mail client, or any of half a dozen other features. DWE can provide them to you.
